The brand opened its flagship UK store as the largest global store of its 900 worldwide sites, on London’s Oxford Street. Grapes Design expressively featured a striking sculptured ceiling, and a 10m hand-finished, polished aluminium bar, the store’s interior could be described as fresh and contemporary, yet Scandinavian in style echoing the brands roots.
The first floor provides the ideal space for hosting VIP events, press gathering or celebrity appointments – a crucial element of the brief given the brand’s cult-favourite ‘affordable luxury’ designs. This bar and entertainment space certainly proved popular on the launch night, with celebrities such as Donna Air, Kelly Brook, Jade Parfitt and Portia Freeman in attendance.
